Ironically, I had a copy of the book it was based on that I hadn't gotten to yet and, never made the connection. The movie and book are about a woman trying to juggle a husband, children and satisfying career and, trying to be the best at all of them.
The movie will never win an award but, it is full of nice performances by a bunch of really likable people. It showed that a mother can and, always will be able to do it all. If I have one complaint about the movie/book it would be that it showed the Stay-At-Home Mom's life as easy and, giving her a full of five hours a day at the gym.
True for some.....sure. The movie also depicted the career Mom as having a full-time nanny, money to spend on things such as a carpet repair and, a husband who also had a fabulous career that allowed him to take up the slack in her duties.
All and all.......another chick flick that they will certainly enjoy.
