I always see any movie Susan Sarandon is in and, it seems now that I'm on my way to seeing all the works of Jason Segel and Ed Helms. I expected a new take on what is now a very relevant social issue......adult children with no choice than to move back in with their parents. I looked forward to a take on this situation with some big laughs along the way.
By the middle of this movie I had laughed but, this was not about Jeff Who Lives At Home, it was about his family and, frankly I had no idea where the plot was going. Jeff (Segel) was a sweet but total loser who had no problem with this. His brother (Helms) was a married and employed loser and Mom (Saradon) also led a pathetic life. The entire movie took place in one day of their lives and I had no idea of how the story lines could have been pulled together.
However, they were in a delightful way which gave me hope for all of them. I then understood why these talented actors chose to be a part of this.
