I have always been fascinated with Marilyn Monroe even though she died when I was eight years old. I've read every book and thought I knew every story until I saw this movie. I knew what a pain in the neck she was to Sir Lawrence Oliver during the filming of "The Prince and the Showgirl" but I did not know the story I saw today. And, what a good one it was!
I liked Michelle Williams back when she was on "Dawson's Creek" and have seen all of her Academy Award nominated performances. She is truly a great actress. I felt that she would again fail to bring home the statute this year as it is the year of Viola Davis. Now I wonder.
